Frequently Asked Questions
Are meals provided?
Coffee, tea, pastries, snacks and lunch are provided daily during the seminar. Participants are responsible for their evening meals with the exception of the Graduation dinner that Boeing arranges. Many excellent restaurants and shops are located near the hotels.
What should I wear?
During the seminar we recommend wearing business casual clothing appropriate for the business environment. The temperature in Seattle is usually mild. Link to current local weather. In the summer months, the classroom is air conditioned and may seem chilly to some. You might want to bring a sweater with you.
We will be taking a VIP Tour of the Everett factory (where 747, 767, 777 and 787 models are built) during the week. Flat, comfortable, closed-toe shoes that cover the top of the foot are required for the Everett Factory Tour. Running shoes or low boots work very well.
You may want to pack an extra bag with you to carry items back home, (i.e. seminar manual, shopping purchases etc).
Can I bring a camera?
Cameras are allowed in the Training Center and the Customer Experience Center. You may also wish to bring a camera for your free time. Security regulations strictly prohibit the possession and use of cameras while at the aircraft factory for the tour.
Will Boeing assist with arranging my airline ticket?
Boeing does not have airline ticketing facilities. Any changes to your airline tickets must be made through the airline at the airport or a local ticket office. The concierge at your hotel may also be able to assist you in this regard.
